Re: Big Cim's vs. Small Cim's

We are using the large CIM for the shooter, works great. What is the diameter of your shooter wheel? Small diameter wheel has lower angular velocity at the rim than a larger diameter wheel. Also, at max rpm a motor has no torque, at 0 rpm a motor delivers max torque. So, big cim has max rpm of 2700, but in the application you will not get this with any load applied. Try some different size shooter wheels at different rpms and you will find your best choice.
