OK to use IFI Robotics Multi-Speed Motor??

Does anyone know if it would be allowed to use the IFI Robotics Multi-Speed Motor from the EDU-Bot (Back when it was called the EDU-Bot), which was packaged with the kit from around 2 years ago, on the competition robot???

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The motor you are talking about is still available at:

http://www.ifirobotics.com/edu-motors.shtml

It is illegal as you can tell by not having the FIRST logo in that box.

Would be nice in a lot of applications tho
