Some almost finished Team 704 pictures.

Simple design, throw balls in, balls roll out into 1 pt goal.

ill post more pictures tomorrow when we finish installing the door, and the ramp the balls roll down.

Re: Some almost finished Team 704 pictures.

May I suggest something? After our practice event today, I noticed that anything that sticks out (like your dropdown ramp) gets broken off, bent or otherwise mangled. You might want to have a Plan B to fall back on if your ramp gets smashed in a match.

I love the color scheme...

That's a nice looking robot there. We're just busy trying to throw together something that works.

Not shown in the pictures are some aluminum flaps that will push the balls around (and into the corner goals) rather well.

Oh god no. I'd hate to see what happens to all the robots out there with drawbridge gates for releasing their balls... BTW that robot is so beautiful. I love the colours, your gate looks amazing

Re: Some almost finished Team 704 pictures.

A solid looking 'bot.

I especially like the clear indicator of where the power switch is. Little things like that really point out a team that is consciousness of all the other people who might have to interact with the 'bot, especially in event of a beserk robot or other safety hazard. I'd like to see more teams take the same time and effort.

Not that mine did. Theres always the off season.
