Invalid Address
I brought up the IFI Loader and tried to load up our hex file, but a message came up that said:
Invalid Address: 0x0 (correct Range: 0x800-0x7fff) How do I fix this |

Re: Invalid Address
Take a look at this thread:
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25662&highlight=Invalid+Address%3 A+0x0+%28correct+Range%3A+0x800-0x7fff%29 found this by searching for: Invalid Address: 0x0 (correct Range: 0x800-0x7fff) (search on the Orange bar above the ads) (change the 18f8720.lkr with 18f8722.lkr - in the answer) Sean |

Re: Invalid Address
Hmm, let's see. Maybe do a 'Clean' (Project, Clean in MPLab). Also, check to make sure the device in the Configure, Select Device is the 18F8722 processor.

Re: Invalid Address
Yes I have that device selected, now, when I am exporting the hex, do I need to edit anything on the window that pops up? Program Memory Areas?

Re: Invalid Address
I don't think you need to do the export. Just do a build (F10 or CTRL-F10) and then grab the .hex file that is created. I've never had to do export to get a .hex file that will load.

Re: Invalid Address
Well, when I clicked build all, it didn't do anything.

Re: Invalid Address
It sounds like a configuration problem. Has it worked in the past?

Re: Invalid Address
It built when I was over at Bosch, but it hasn't worked since I brought it here.

Re: Invalid Address
So, I have the program all ready to go, but I can't download it to the robot.
