Re: what is the wierdest thing that has ever happened to you?

When I was in my younger years (middle school), my family took a vacation to Savannah, GA. We were in a park somewhere around there, and a local news crew asked if they could get a shot of me fanning myself. (We decided to show up in the middle of a massive heat wave. Not the 312 variety.) Fast-forward to the six o'clock news, and there I am.

A close second would be last year at Kickoff. The day of Kickoff, Dave Lavery was exactly one place ahead of JVN in the caption contest. So, the night before I was to fly to Manchester, I hopped on the computer and created the first (and only) I AM(slightly funnier than)JOHN V-NEUN AWARD. Framed and everything. So after Kickoff ends, and everyone's oohing and aahing over tetras and goals and 3v3, I work my way up to Dave and get it to him. Shortly afterward, a reporter from the local paper comes up and asks for an interview, and asks what I gave him. I have no clue as to whether that actually got into the paper.
