how do you transfer balls back and forth between the collector, hopper, magazine, and shooter?
The harvester collects from the ground -> transfers balls into the elevator -> balls either shoot for the goal directly, or travel through a slowly spinning shooter and into the magazine -> balls inside the magazine can be reinserted into the elevator and back out the gun for a shot!

You can manually load the magazine via the human player also.

hey, thats CDVII's collector!! you give it back!!
I specifically asked Chief to post some pictures of the harvester mechanism...they did, so we copied it the best we could. This device worked amazingly well in 2002 and it works amazingly well now. We use the Mabuchi motor coupled with a 5:1 banebots to run the lateral rollers. The inboard rollers are coupled to our other ball management devices and run coupled with them.

and how 'bout some details about that drivetrain?
The drivetrain is super simple......we use the large CIM motr tucked into a Dewalt with shifting. They are eerily quiet! We added some AndyMark Omnis in the back to help reduce turning drag. So far they seem to work great.
