Done completely (amazingly), even the autonomous worked before we left. That won't last once we get to comp, something will go wrong. Now to wait...

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

we are pretty far behind in electronics becasue a few miss haps in shipping

a problem occured with the shippment of our gold fuse blocks. We recieved a call the day they where supposed to arrive that we wernt getting them.

Few other companies did the same but we where able to resolve them within a day or too. Hopefully they will be in soon!

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

Well, we were a bit over weight....192 then we got it down to 148, so we had to ditch our conveyor to a human loader thing. We still have wiring, and I still have to make an auto mode dead reckoning YA!!! So the mentors messed with it all Tuesday to fix it, while we were in school, none of us got to use it. But the camera wasn't put in the crate, will we still be able to use it? I hope so, without it we won't have to much of an auto mode.
I still can't believe we were 192 pounds... We were so far underweight before, I guess it didn't cross anyones mind.

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

we fixed just about all of our mechanical issues before shipping, though you just know we'll find some new ones to keep busy with. Programming is behind, though mainly because there was no bot to work with for too long. Aside from that, there are just some panels that need for be attached on game day, and we're good to go (you know, maybe)

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

Well we actually got done but we are a little suprised with all the tall robots and all the EXTREMELY OVERWEIGHT robots we felt stupid when we were 12 pounds overweight a week before ship no offense but how can you let your robot become 192 pounds when the limit is 120

discuss...

Technically, we finished, but we shipped 2 mechanisms and need to test which works better.

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

Today was intense. We we're 99% done this morning. Then that number decreased after I accidentally crashed the robot (oops) and nobody was at the 'kill' switch. We ended bending our arm. After fixing it and adding extra reinforcement, we realized we were over 80". 2 hours later, we were done.

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

All that needs to be done is to add stickers... but I suppose that gives us something to do at the regional...

We finished on Tuesday or Wednesday and our drivers got to practice on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

did we Finish? . . well close enough . . I will say there are some things in the crate that are unattached to the robot . . and may be reattached/ reconfigured come the Thursday of competition. . and there is alot of autonomous( no not hybrid . . we couldn't figure out a legal way of RELIABLY communicating with the robot) testing that needs to be done . . as well as some configuring for red balls . . we only had . . well never mind that. bottom line we have a VERY good robot that we are proud of . . and were also looking forward to a VERY long Thursday

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

Anyone else notice that this thread was brought back from 2006? I'm betting those poll results are a little off for this year.

Otherwise, 973, finished and practiced with, for once.

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

I know we were like 95% two days ago so it should be done now, I guess I'll see tomorrow before we crate it (I've not been around the past tow days so I've no idea)

Re: SHIP DAY IS HERE!!! Did you finish???

For the past two days we've been "Don't worry, it will be done in half an hour". Solenoids are giving us a run, as well as a slew of bad PWMs. And part of our linear bearing for our elevator snapped off while testing today, so we got to play with that, too. Well be up early in the morning tomorrow doing last minute adjustments before we ship at noon.

Oh ya, and were 12 pounds over weight.
