1278 Finished Robot

For now the robot name is //unknown

On a side note as a team mentor, I am so proud of my kids and the bot' they made. No fancy engineers or machines, just kids using their skills to make one sweet robot.

See you in Cleveland...

This phenomenon is caused by almost every team posting their picture at the same time, and people being overwhelmed and underinquisitive. Also, your design is very straightforward. It looks solid, I like it.

Re: 1278 Finished Robot

Looks great. I like the turret design.
How much weight do you have above the base? Will it tip over?
Good luck this year.

Re: 1278 Finished Robot

Thanks for the responses, Lets see what i answer here.

Base weight is rougly ~50 pounds if i remember correctly. We are stable, since alot of the turret weight is either right above the axis, or behind it.

The only place we seem to have a problem with tipping is the ramp, but we have an idea on how we might fix that at regionals.
