more often than not, its not power, but traction that wins a pushing match. and empirical data has suggested that pneumatic tires have a CoF of approx. 0.8-0.9 on carpet, while treads such as roughtop and wedgetop have a CoF of approx. 1.2-1.3 on carpet. with the profusion of off-the-the-shelf traction wheels, i think that you might see a little more fight than you think.

Let me tell you something. I have been doing tracks for the last 12 years we know something about tracks. We made sure that what we are using will beat tracks.
