Re: What do you keep in your car?

Is that an old IBM XT? I remember when they came out!

I always have a basic tool kit in the cars. Each of them also has a small Craftsman ratchet set in them, a 12v compressor and tire repair kits. This has come in handy on several occasions. I got a stuck thermostat on my Mustang and overheated. Once it cooled down I removed the upper radiator hose, goose neck, removed the thermostat, and put the goose neck and hose back on. I went into a supermarket and bought several gallons of spring water to refill the radiator. It worked to get me home.
I've also removed several nails/screws from my tires, plugged the tires and refilled them with air from the compressor.

So far I've never gotten outright stuck somewhere and needed AAA.

I'll have to really post pics of the stuff. I can't remember everything off the top of my head plus each vehicle has other stuff in it. Maybe I'll take some pics tomorrow.
