What to do with all these poof balls?

I vote that we all get together this summer, and have a gigantic dodge-ball thing... robots, humans, it'll all be wholesome, good FIRST fun...

Or all of us that have shooter robots can use them to help the war efforts in Iraq. How freaky would a wave of poof balls be?

Dodgeball of course. We had several spontaneous matches erupt throughout the build season.

We found out that Poof balls make good padding when crating up your robot.

These things are so small and compressible, that I think a lot will show up at Regionals and the Championship for autographs of friends and dignitaries. A keepsake for the event that isn't as large as the goal toppers of 2001 (which my son still has from Einstein in my basement -- Dean's sig still look good).

Our team's had a good idea on what to do with them, but I won't elaborate just yet...look for it in our pit at Pittsburgh and Chesapeake...

Re: What to do with all these poof balls?

Can you imagine if everyone brought their poof balls to Atlanta! hmmm... big open space between arena and pits... thousands of poof balls...thousands of high school kids hopped up on sugar and robotics.... sounds a little dangerous.

Re: What to do with all these poof balls?

I think our team is taking them to the Pittsburgh regional....which er...I fear for my life. 6 hours on a short bus + multiple poof balls = death of brain cells. Coming back from the kick off with just 1 was dangerous!!! May luck be with you on all future games of dodgeball.

Re: What to do with all these poof balls?

I think there could be something fun to do at IRI. they hand the human player competiton last year, why not 5 vs 5 dodgeball throwdowns at IRI. We could even do 4 and robot vs 4 and robot. That would be insane, fo shizzle.

If we did Dean's hand would be sore for months and/or the Georgiadome would have some broken lights with the dodge ball aftermath of the signing.. Right? everyone gets a signed ball and a ball thrown at them That would be fun!!!

I say donate them to you local childern's day care center. It's a win-win situation. You get rid of the balls, and the kids have a new toy.

I'm suprised that no one's suggested a poofball eating contest.

Hours of fun!
