Most of the field is automated this year. Balls are counted by a camera system as they exit the ball chute on the high goals, or as they cross into the side goals. The system is as yet untested in a competition, but I suppose we will find out how that goes after this weekend. Other aspects, such as a penalty and ramp points are scored by humans during and after the match ends for the final score. -Andy A. |
