This one's pretty obvious... I will be amazed when I see this for the first time. A combined score of 150pts would probably be a rarity also.

Car Nack can't win. He predicts 100pts are common. "No brainer" folks say.

Now he predicts 150pts will be uncommon. "No brainer" folks say again.

After watching yesterday's matches from VCU, I think 150 will almost never happen this year. Also I think the average score for a game is going to be down around 20-30 (win and lose). But this year will be a low score year. Just think back to 2003, the tubs were just about never used and it seams this year the balls, while they may be the main playing object, won’t be used as much. Most of the points will come from the balls but the majority of the action will be simple pushing matches... I hope I’m wrong.

Those 25 points for 3 robots on the ramp are looking real important. Also, the auto looks to be the best time to score points. Our bot can sit in the close box wait 3 sec and start shooting. From the middle box we have to go 4.5 feet and shoot. This leads me to believe that an average good score will be around 70 to 80 points. There will probably be many matches with much lower scores.
