some Week 1 footage from Manchester

It focuses mainly on team 97, but there are enough wide-angle shots to get an idea of how the game is being played (at least in week one). Hope it's helpful.

Edit: Round winners added. Sorry, I don't have exact scores.

blue seems to be winning more then red. I feel another "unbalanced side" dispute coming on .

Re: some Week 1 footage from Manchester

hey thanks for the footage! Great job! I've watched 50+ matches of the VA regional and very few teams had consistently good strategy--or at least they weren't employing the strategies. You were! You didn't even have a shooter and you contributed a great deal each round; between blocking in auto, using your hopper-stored balls to score and getting on the ramp regularly you've proved that at least 1/3 of the game is strategy (1/3 robot & 1/3 Lady Luck .

thanks for the videos, it is definitely going to help my team develop some strategies for our regionals.

Any chance of posting some of the final scores for these games?

Saturday matches:

http://web.mit.edu/scolton/www/round9_512.wmv (Winner: Red)

http://web.mit.edu/scolton/www/playoff3-1_512.wmv (Winner: Blue)

http://web.mit.edu/scolton/www/playoff3-3_512.wmv (Winner: Red)

I don't have any footage of the (amazing) finals. If anyone else does, I'd be happy to host it temporarily.

Not sure of the exact scores, sorry.

Re: some Week 1 footage from Manchester

Hey, how long will those matches be up and do you mind if I hotlink?

If the answer is temporarily and/or "yes", than I'll move them to my server and/or Google Video, where space and bandwidth are unlimited.

I can keep them up indefinitely. It is an MIT server so bandwidth should not be a problem - link away. (Feel free to make copies for your server anyway if you'd like.) Thanks for the offer.
