Our team also has to take the damages of expansion. The same weekend as the Midwest Regional is the same weekend we volunteer at Detroit. Although we will miss such an awesome regional this year, we will have the advantage of attending another awesome regional somewhere else.
 I think the new schedules have to happen, especially with teams that have financial issues that restrict their traveling distances. The FIRST season is designed to last from the beginning of the second High School semesters to the middle of April, allowing students to catch up and study their school materials in order to pass their classes and (if the student is a senior) graduate. |
