How to discard dead batteries
Last night, we noticed that one of our practice batteries had died and would no longer take a charge. Since I know that simply tossing the battery into the trash is not a viable or safe option, I was wondering what other teams have done to dispose of their batteries after they die.
It has a large, happy recycling symbol on it, but how and where can these be recycled? |

Re: How to discard dead batteries
Elise,
Any retailer who sells lead acid batteries is reguired to recycle batteries. Some may not take a battery if they haven't sold you one, but they should take them. Last edited by Ricky Q. : 09-03-2006 at 12:05. Reason: wrong button hit, nothing changed |
