Well, at this point only found:

1. Black Lowepro Camera Case (no camera, but a battery and 3 memory cards)
2. Looks like a laptop power supply

Great Lakes was definetly a fun regional. We won 5 out of 8, had quite a bit of problems, but we pulled through all the same. Lost in the qualifying matches to a great alliance. Congrats guys.

Congrats to Chairman's winners. It was kinda weird. I wasn't expecting to get it, not at all, but when they said that the team had been around for 8 years, my heart, I swore, it stopped! Cause thats how long we've been around too, and we were one of the eight teams that actually submitted. But, congrats to you, all the same.

The penaltys sucked. Some bad calls.

We set up a vcr and taped the entire event. We could possibily make a copy of it. You'll have to talk to Tom Nader about it.

Yup. Before the season, I promised that I'd shave my head if both 1114 & 1503 won a regional... I'll have it done before Waterloo for sure, and maybe even before I go to Detroit this weekend.

As for the regional, what an amazing weekend. It seems like a lot of the teams were still in debug mode on Friday, but made big turn rounds on Saturday. Look out for 33 & 469 this season. With their turrets and camera aiming, look for them on Einstein in Atlanta. This robots have amazing potential.

The game play was very physical. We had robots coming at us from every direction in the finals. If it wasn't for HOT clearing us some space, things would have been very different. Robots who need lots of space and time to shoot are going to have difficulty on Saturday afternoon. The amount of defence (Canadian English

) raises exponentially during the eliminations.

Overall the Great Lakes Regional was a wonderful experience, and we look forward to defending our title next year.

Team 815 would like to thank Team 469 and 451 again for requesting our participation in their alliance for the Great Lakes Regional. You turned a very frustrating competition into our Cinderella Story. A story that we will be telling over and over again.

that was an awesome alliance.
469 and 451's scoring ability was awesome
and 815's defensive capability rivaled 67's.
they put up a good fight against team Canada

I like for in the qualifying points for the number 2 seeded team it says "lower than above (we hope)"

I don't think those are the correct standings. They look like the standings at the beginning of day 3, not the end. I say this because we placed 16th overall at the end of the competition.

Agreed. It only shows 6 matches for most teams, thats the rank from the end of Friday.
