Re: 2006 Finger Lakes Regional

This was a great regional. Some of the robots I were impressed by are:

1126: Great robot. The design is pretty flawless. Good look and it was great being partnered with you guys.

1901: Small, compact and lethal. You guys started the regional as rookies, but by the end you were looking great. Congrats on rookie all-star and highest seeded rookie. Are you guys going to Atlanta?

191: Short shooter but a great defender. Finals were awesome against you guys.

1511: You may have became a defensive robot, but your driver is a good driver for that.

Also: thanks to 271 for choosing us and 1551 for being great alliance partners.

I don't mean to complain right now... But did anyone else notice anything unusual about the matchups during qualifications? From our end, it seemed like we got into a lot one side domination matches(where are side got dominated). It is highly probable we just got really unlucky. It would just make me feel a lot better if I got confirmation one way or another.

Unfortunately, this is the end of our season. We will try to make a few off-seasons. Thanks to everyone at FLR for making it great. Hope to see you all next year!

I'm still mad we never get to have the Xerox Trinity together in one match. Not even in the Ruckus!

As John pointed out to me I made a mistake in this. 1901 got Rookie inspiration.

Re: 2006 Finger Lakes Regional

I Have the whole Final Rounds from QF1 - Finals on Google video for now since I am upgrading my pathetic W2k Pro (10 concurrent logins allowed) to W2k Server

See http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...87862983866057

Once I get it up an ready it'll still be at www.team191.servehttp.com but it may have trouble logging in if it's over the 10 limit.

I have all 16 hours of regional matches on my server once it's set. I'll let you all know.

Re: 2006 Finger Lakes Regional (video needed)

Thanks to the X-Cats for posting the video from FLR's big-screen onto Ellery's server.

Does anyone else have the final day AWARD CEREMONY video? I would like to get the big-screen feed for our winning the Engineering Inspiration award....

Thanks
Doug

Re: 2006 Finger Lakes Regional

Awesome video ED! I really liked the parts where it went through pictures. And it was cool how you focused on offensive plays, then went to defensive plays for a while. (weather that was on purpose or not) Anyways keep 'em coming and if you ever need help just let me know

Well I definately need an interview from you for the video. We'll have to figure out what time is good for you.

Great video, it really showed what it was like at FLR. Every team was shown in it, so you can now see the wide range of robots in it. I'm going to use this to help introduce some more people to FIRST.
