Re: GM/Technion University Israel Regional FFL
I have been told that the scoring for ths should change due to thier circumstances.
The Chairmans, Rookie - All Stars, 1 Seed should be higher. |

Re: GM/Technion University Israel Regional FFL
what alex is talking about is what told him about the regional. Unlike a regional in the US the only teams that qualify for the championship are the #1 seed, rookie allstar, and chairmans.
I think that the number #1 seed and the rookie all star should get the same points that the regional winners usally do. so something like this. 30....1st seed 12....2nd and 3rd seed 6......4th through 8th 3......9th through 12th 2......12th through 16th 4......Quarter finalists 10.....Semifinalists 15.....Finalists 25.....Winners 42.....Chairmans 36.....Engineering Inspiration Award 30.....Rookie All-Star 10.....Rooke Inspiration 8......Woodie Flowers 2......Win(s) -2.....Loss(es) 1......Tie(s) 8.......Highest score / Highest Rookie Seed 5....... Judges Award 2.......for every non-placement award, except previously mentioned |

![]() Anyway, you made the right pick..we will be winning this years regional and will participate in the championships in Atlanta. Just a correction...if I understood right, you said that the team seeded first at the end of the qualification rounds is the winner. That is wrong...there going to have the qualifying rounds and then the alliance picking and finals as normal, but only the head of the alliance, instead of the whole alliance, will be the winner and will get to participate in the championship in Atlanta. (I am not sure how good that idea is because the teams picked in the alliance picking won't be as motivated to win). Last edited by David55 : 17-03-2006 at 09:40. |
