Both 379 and 302 ------- you were a great set of teams. Each brought to the game your scouting, expertise and cooperation. While we did not win, I was pleased with the level of effort - we did not quit at any time and gave it 100%, and that all that can be asked.

Thanks for being our partners in Detroit, good luck at your other events....see you in Atlanta.

Re: Thank you 47 and 379

- I would like to say thank you to team 47 for selecting our team the robocats as an alliance partner. It meant a great deal to our team to be selected by such a great team who has been around for a long time.
- To team 302 I would like to thank you for helping select us also. we really miss you guys in Cleveland. You are a great robot and team with such potential, both teams are.

- I would like to apologize for our auto mode though. We realized that we were missing a pinion gear off our right transmission that was making the robot go to the right and make it somewhat hard to steer. We never seen it fall of or didn't notice it. We thought it was the timing on our treads. I wish things would have worked out better but they didn't. I would like to thank both of you for the alliance and wish you both the best of luck during the rest of the season and in the future and hope to see you at nationals and maybe be on a winning alliance. Good Luck.

That alliance was one of the best I've ever seen. Little things went wrong for everyone. We failed to produce multiple autonomous modes in order to avoid being blocked, so a lot of the blame can be placed on us. If we had that working, we would have won the whole thing in my mind. Best of luck in the future to both 47 and 379.

Re: Thank you 47 and 379

We had a very balanced alliance, and to me, we were probably the only ones who could have stopped 469 and all those guys. This was our second regional and we faced some of those very same "rookie mistakes" at both of them. Next week we head to Philadelphia, and maybe now we'll have this thing working 100%!

To team 47, thank you for having faith in us. Everyone in FIRST spends six+ weeks building different solutions to the same problem, hoping to do it well enough to stand out and make it into the finals. Without the support and attention from team 47, we would not have been there. It was an honor to be teamed up with such an experienced and storied team. Thank you very much for everything and good luck!

To team 302, nothing that day was greater than seeing you guys punch in all those shots in our winning game! Your bot was a thrill to watch. From what i heard, you guys are usually defensive, maybe you should think the other way next year too! Your continued optimism was a confidence builder and made the whole thing so much fun. Good luck and thank you for being such a great alliance partner.

Keep looking forward, and having fun ... thats what FIRST is all about, fun. We hope to see you guys down the road, and who knows, maybe we can try this out again!
