Re: 2006 Boston Regional

Boston will be a lot of fun, everything seems to be going the right way:

  • Good Sized Venue
  • 44 Teams, including 14! rookies
  • Great List of Judges, emphasis on Great, only Atlanta has a better list
  • A Live Webcast
  • Tons of Awesome, Kick Butt, Cool, Volunteers
  • Awesome LAN parties at the Hyatt, featuring 75, 233, 571, 578, 1403, and more!
  • It's really gonna be great

To everyone who will be at the competition: Don't forget to bring your old LEGOs and RCXs to donate! The RCU will be at the competition collecting donations on Saturday- see the RCU forum for more details!

Also, I'll be at the competition Friday and Saturday- I can't wait to see some competition!

Re: 2006 Boston Regional

I'm looking forwarding to meeting the local teams! I will be in the pits on Thursday, talking to the teams, especially the rookies, about hints to help with judging.

Tons of VIP's at this event. Lots of opportunities for teams to promote their team.
Try to bring handouts about your team.

Re: 2006 Boston Regional

As I said before, I plan on going.
If I'm not volunteering in some way or another, any team wanna adopt me?

If not, I'll have to be part of the ref's team, and I'll have to throw random flags. lol
I'll keep it fair, and only throw flags at people I know though. *cough* Corey, Ashley, Conor, Harry, Marc, and others..*cough*

I don't know if I like that deal.. maybe I'll just wear my 1403 shirt, and we'll call it a done deal, and make Corey be the whole Cougar? Or, Scott can be the Cougar rump if he wants to. lol

Elgin,
ummm, you want to be on call to help get some robots up to speed? Or did we tire you out at Chesapeake?

OH boy!!!! Maybe if I'm better by then I will.
I came back from MD and was sick. Darn allergies. That's what I get for goin' down south before spring ends. A mid-season change in climate did a number on my system. lol

Anyways, I may have to call in some reinforcements, but sure.. I'll be available... I think.
