2006 AIM HIGH strategy board now available!

Last year at Nationals, Team 1394 (that is us!) handed out Alliance Strategy Boards and dry-erase markers to all teams at the competition; they were a hit (or, so we think)! This year, we have decided to go this route again; we will be handing outreusable alliance strategy boards at the Philadelphia regional and (probably) at Nationals.

However, in the hopes that all teams can find this useful, even those not attending Philly or Nationals, and in order to make life easy for those teams that would like to have extras on hand, we have decided to also make this resource available on our website for the use of teams in the FIRST community. We apologize for the lateness of this publication- only the last week of regionals, nationals, and off-season competitions remain, obviously- but we hope that those teams still in the action find these useful!

The alliance strategy boards are available at:
www.masteryrobotics.org/publications.htm

Enjoy!

Re: 2006 AIM HIGH strategy board now available!

Our team (195) has been making magnetic strategy boards on and off since about 2002?! Since I have been on the team, we made them in 2004 and 2006. The set includes a playing field (magnetic board) and little magnetic robots. We handed them out at UTC and will be handing them out to teams in our division at nationals. I will post a picture of them when I find one...

At nationals last year your strategy boards were invaluable during our stratigizing. Thanks for such a great resource. I saved one to bring home so our team could make our own version for the Denver Regional this year, but I've lost it. What did your team use to coat/laminate the surface with?

Sounds like a great gift to give to other teams! I remember getting one in Annapolis last year (I don't recall from which team) and I look forward to seeing yours at Philly this weekend!
