That definitely was the best regional we have experienced yet - not only the fact we were really competitive for a change, but also I enjoyed meeting the variety of teams from all over. It didn't all go smoothly of course, Team 753 slammed us pretty good against the ramp in a qualifying match which shattered one of our omni-wheels. Good thing we had them in our alliance in the tournament! Thanks to Saratoga High, 649, for not just one spare omni, but two of them!! You guys rock!! And your Holonomic drive was fun to watch!! Note to teams.. AM plastic omni wheels + metal ramp = only good for one competition!!

My heart goes out to team David Tyco and his rookie team 1974. I do wish they come back again under better circumstances and wish David a speedy recovery. Team 34, 1726, and 100 really helped them out so they could get their robot running around on the field. They did eventually win one match and were able to score 9 points in a match. Thank you again to all those who attended the regional and we sure hope to have you back in the future. For those who missed some of the final matches, I'm starting to post some of them on our website along with Grant's (Mythbusters - Team 841) pep talk.
