I only used the program for about 3 days before I started on my teams animation and the only thing I had a problem with was creating bones, I'm still a little confused about it . But the GUI is very intuitive and basic modeling is just realizing what basic primitive shapes are used to create a complex object.

Me. I knew that our team had only one shot at getting the rising star award. After that your in a whole tougher competition. I took the time and learned 3ds max over the summer. So when the season rolled around I knew alot about the program. I actually want to make animation a career one day.
