Re: 2006 West Michigan Regional Good Robots

About the same for me, but 322 would be lower in my opinion. They are still a very good team, but had the disadvantage of being the #1 seed and being only a lower goal dumper. Most, but not all, winning alliances had two 3pt scoring robots in autonomous. They did great at West Michigan, and had just two qualifying more than us.

Teams 33, 66, 67, 74, 107, 201, 234, 503, and 910 are 3pt shooters, also 322 and 1272 are 1pt shooters that would round out a top 15 for me. It could be in any order, because these team are just so close to each other. I know 15 is triple what you said, but they all need to be mentioned.

EDIT: It should read "two qualifying points more than us."

That's somewhat true, we are the perfect alliance for two good shooters and with the new picking method made it almost an disadvantage for us to be the top seed. Our alliance out scored all teams in normal play, it was the auto mode that put us 30 pts. behind both matchs in the Semi's that we lost. Our perfect plan was to have two 3pt shooters and we would come in from the third spot and dump 10 to out score any opponent, but it didn't quite go as planned. We had a blast and it was a great event. You guys looked great.

P.S. I did hear that 3 corner dumpers paired in alliance together won an regional this year though.
