[Videos] Of great robots and great plays

Hi,

I wanted to make a thread in which people can post links to videos of Great robot or Great plays. I would personally love to see videos of all the great robots that have been talked about on CD.

So please if you have any such videos, post the links.

PS:- I know some regional webcasts are archived;however, It doesn't have every match and robot.

And, to be nice and fair, http://www.soap.circuitrunners.com/2...tto/sc_fm2.wmv shows that Team 11's alliance shows that they learned that they couldn't let us do that sort of thing.

This shows 254 (and 488 ) in the quarter final at PNW. This was a fantastic match full of great plays. Watch particularly for the pick by 1887; simply one of the most amazing plays I've ever seen in FIRST.

Re: [Videos] Of great robots and great plays

MIDWEST REGIONAL HAD A FEW GOOD TEAMS

Look to the very last match in the finals, where Wildstang & Co. completely shut down The Beast, for what had to be one of the best defensive plays of the year.

Watching 254 (and the Triplets, for that matter), I'm kind of disappointed that our bot didn't get to play against any of these bots, since they have the same basic design and capabilities. Did 254 (or their twin) play against one of the Triplets? Or do I need to watch the championship webcast?

Re: [Videos] Of great robots and great plays

Here are videos of the three crazy Lone Star Regional finals matches. 231 recorded them, so they focus on their robot, but they still give an idea of the chaos that occurred in the finals.
Match 1: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...gional&pl=true
Match 2: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...gional&pl=true
Match 3: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...gional&pl=true

For a different angle, here is the link to the videos NASA broadcasted: http://robotics.nasa.gov/events/webcasts/lsr_2006.php

Hate to rub my own team's back, but here is a video with clips of team 1523 getting up the ramp at the last second in a QF match... I still can't believe that we got up there!

If you want to see a great last second (after last second actually) ramp score, watch the SPAM robot at the end of qualifying match 52 at the South Carolina regional. Link
