I've got grey hair. When the whining starts, I've noticed it's as likely to come from mentors as from kids. Music at events is a good way to drown all that out -- I say crank it!

I'll buy Billfred's arguments #2, #3, and #4 on this one. Also, I like NL's "Aim High" precisely because I don't think it will stand up over time (i.e., it will start to sound dated after a couple of years) -- that will motivate someone to write a new anthem.
Fresh material is one of the keys to sustaining FIRST. That's the reason we need a new game, new rules, new KOP elements, new teams, etc. every year.
