Database for prefrosh of college students

Looking through the Careers Forum I have recently been reminded of how strange and difficult it is to choose a college. I remember wishing (when it was my turn) that there was some way I could talk to college students who had not been "fed the admissions script" and get an honest idea of what my home for the next four years would be.

So this is what I propose. Let's make a list of college students willing to talk about their schools that prefrosh can look at and use to find somebody at their potential school to answer questions. I don't know what form this will eventually take but a database is not useful without data so I figure this is a good place to start.

The intention of this list is that it not be limited to members of FIRST. Grab your friends and (with their permission) put them in. College students who continue with FIRST tend to have a high percentage of engineering students and I hope that this will eventually represent a larger selection of majors. Potentially people who used this list would later put themselves on this list and it would grow that way.

Anyway the impact of the idea could be very big but all big things must start small...so let's get it started. Write out "dot" in your e-mail and put a * before your AIM to keep yourself out of junkmail problems. If N/A just skip it.

If you are a college student

I'm now going to double post (sorry) with a second post I will continually update as the list grows so it is kept manageable.
