Home Depot errand run in Atlanta

Does any team have a "planned" run to a local Home Depot store in Atlanta?

If so, we have a need to buy nine (9) 10-foot lengths of 1" electrical conduit (EMT thinwall) for our pit and would like to tag-along for a ride; beats getting a cab to go to Home depot with poles sticking out the window (yeah, need a red flag, etc).

Anyways, we need electrical conduit pipes for our pit and can't ship the ones we already have from Finger Lakes & Boston regionals (unless somebody has a truck going to Atlanta from our region).

So, if you PLAN to go to Home depot on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday AM, please get back to me ASAP.

Do you need this for Wed. evening when we can set up the pit? If so we could possibly purchase ahead of time for you and bring when we come.
Let me know

I know that is a joke as Home Depot is HQ'd in Atlanta.
My team is in Atlanta and we have a trailer that is going to the pits on Wed.

Re: Home Depot errand run in Atlanta

There is one at the exit on south Atlanta road. There is also another one after Atlanta that is only 2miles from downtown. To get to it take the exit and you will see the infamous orange sign. Hope this helps.

You can't set up the pit Wed. The FIRST website is clear on this. Remove robot from crate, tag as empty and leave.

Re: Home Depot errand run in Atlanta

Thanks all,

1) Pits can't be set-up until Thursday AM; we know that already
2) "yes Virginia", there are Home Depot stores in Atlanta (the founder donated the new Atlanta aquarium)
3) We may be able to transport our pit poles (1" electrical thinwall pipe) from Rochester thanks to the gracious professionalism of our compatriot Xerox-sponsored team(s)....so stay tuned.

Otherwise, I'll be contacting y'all in Atlanta on Wednesday....
