Oh yeah, I am glad to know that I am not the only one obssessed with omnidirectional robots. Which one were you talking about? One of my favorite of the omnidirectional robots is the lego mindstorms omnidirectional walking robot, http://www.bea.hi-ho.ne.jp/meeco/pw/pwe.html . It is fairly simple, slow, but a new design. I also recomend Mechadon, the walking/rolling robot and SHRIMP, all terrain rover.
