The SUV crew is right on this one (although you can’t use the engine covers as a guide – because engine plants don’t assemble the cosmetic beauty covers that adorn the engine).
This is a Vortec 5300 Engine that is a V8 upgrade for the Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy Denali, Buick Ranier, Saab 9-7X, and the Isuzu Ascender. It packs a punch with 300 HP @ 5200 RPM, and 330 lb.-ft. Torque @ 4000 RPM. This display engine just happened to be parked outside my office area and in a convenient location for a photo. We make the 400 HP LS2 Engine for Corvette, CTS-V, and Trailblazer SS also. Last edited by rourke : 24-04-2006 at 15:46.
