ATLANTA Photoshare

Team 1394 will hosting a photoshare for team photographers for the Championship event. This program runs off of a gallery software and can be accessed by any individual. We are requesting that each team make only 1 user account, as each account will have a gallery generated for them- please post all photographs in your gallery. The account nomenclature is Team####, so please keep this in mind when you are creating an account.

We are not regulating numbers of images per gallery, although the size per image is limited to 10mb, so we request that you upload a selection of your best images, rather than them all. This will conserve both bandwidth and disk space.

The galleries may be found at www.masteryrobotics.org/atlphotos

I'm about to leave for Atlanta, but I will answer any questions when I get online next.

Again, anyone may download or view the images; please only upload from your one team account, named Team####. You will need to create these accounts yourself!

Thanks, and I'll see you all at the championships.

Re: ATLANTA Photoshare

I'm bumping this now that I've remembered I posted it before I left; I'll be posting many of our images soon, and would love for more people to utilize this service!

Re: ATLANTA Photoshare

Hey Dillon,
great idea. Next year, I think that such a service for "just robot" pics would also be valuable.

A suggestion; your model here is "build it and they will post", which is fine. But most teams already have their own photo-sharing web sites.

BUT....there is no master list of all those team web sites and/or each team's specific link to their photo-sharing sites (some teams separate their photo site from their main web site). Maybe you just want to have everyone toss-up the hyperlink instead of actually uploading pics? a suggestion.....

Yes, I realize that on the FIRST site, the regional/championship list of teams is hyperlinked to the team's site, but I wanted to document the actual web site names for the photo archives I can scout through later on....
