Re: EINSTEIN

Does anyone else notice how many rookies are winning awards not traditionally reserved for rookies? We must have had a heck of a batch of rookies this year!

Re: EINSTEIN

I stick by what I said... I want to see Newton win...

Alas, I think an Achimedes vs. Newton final would be amazing to watch! Then again, I underestimated Galileo so I guess Galileo vs. Achimedes would be amazing too! [[ I'm having so much fun watching this online, I can only imagine what it's like to be there, but it's something I look forward and aspire to getting to do! ((my team went last year before I was a member)) ]]

And about the rookies, it really is amazing how many are getting so far, doing so well, and winning so many awards! I can only imagine what kind of rookies we'll have next year!

I've noticed more and more rookie teams mentored by either former students that are now college students or relocated mentors. There was a time when one usually dismissed or discounted how successful a rookie team could be (I know it sounds bad) - but thats definitely not the case anymore which is awesome that not only is FIRST growing new teams but growing new successful teams which will stick around for a while.

wow, what a win for Newton. That was pure power. They didn't even try to score during auto, then turned around and put 106 on the board. Amazing...

Wow, I'm really interested to see which team will win SF 2-3! I predict that the winner between Galileo and Newton will be the alliance to win the entire championship

I totally agree, match two, they let the other team take 34 points in Autonomous to come back at them when 72 points worth of 3 pointers during their offensive period! they totally earned those two wins ((the 2nd one crushing more than the first))

Newton vs. Archimedes - I'm excited... this will be an AMAZING FINAL! ::excited!::

I'm thinking it was intentional. That way they can fire all 10 balls at alot closer to 100% accuracy, as apposed to the heavily defended autonomous, which they hadn't hit nearly as many in.

217 vs 25 (no offense any of the other outstandinly powerful teams), a match-up I have wanted to see sense 217 won Detroit. This could be quite amazing, the best 2 human loaded-only bots.

Awsome comeback wins by the Newton champs. Did they lose autonomous twice on purpose?

I can't really follow via webcast.
