We lost our first 4 matches on Friday. If someone can find them and turn them into wins, that would be very nice.

Thanks in advance,

Re: Atlanta FRC championship Lost & Found

I lost a little part of my mind down in Atlanta dealing with some drama..

If anyone finds my mind, I would like maybe some of it back..
As for the drama, you can keep that!

No wonder in a city who is the home of TNT that there was a lot of drama, on and off the field.

TNT: We know Drama.
And apparently, so does everyone in FIRST.

I lost 2 pairs of Saftly Glasses, one in the lobby of the peachtree after I put them down on the starbucks counter for a second and one in the Arcamedies Stands. Anyone who may know anything about them tell me please? I just got them... Anyways, we saw a digital camera on the ground in the Arch. stands but another team picked it up, don't remember what team it was sorry, we were having major drama.

Re: Atlanta FRC championship Lost & Found

yeah, I lost a Nikon digital camera in a black case at the CNN center on Friday night

Another girl on our team lost her bag (a black Guess bag) with her wallet and camera in it on Saturday, right by the big FIRST sign outside the Georgia Dome - if anyone happened to find either of them, an e-mail would be greatly appreciated :-/

Re: Atlanta FRC championship Lost & Found

My mother lost her camera also- She thinks she lost it in either the Volunteer room (C-107) or the Hospitality suite in the Dome.
If anyone in either of those places found an Olympus D-540 Zoom, PLEASE let me know! And fyi- we called the Dome security, and they told us the only camera they had was a disposable. So if you lost your disposable camera, you may just be in luck! However, any of those nice expensive digital cameras... Not quite so good for you.
I hope everyone gets their stuff returned to them!

Re: Atlanta FRC championship Lost & Found

So any updates on finding your lost items? Especially those that were misplaced within the Georgia Dome/GWCC?

I find it strange that none of these items were ever turned into the respective lost and founds run by the security offices of the two venues. I find it HIGHLY unlikely that random schmoes off the street found all of these items and walked away with them. SOMEONE employed by the venues had to find at least one of these big ticket items. SO WHERE ARE THEY?

I smell something rotten in the city of Atlanta.

I am currently searching for a laptop suspected to be left behind in the pit at the GWCC. We were one of the very last teams to pack up and leave. The public had completely left the pit area by that time - the only people around were GWCC cleanup staff and loading dock workers moving crates.

If none of you have had success in locating your missing high cost items via the lost and found route, each security office has an Investigations unit responsible for looking into lost property cases in more detail. If you have a decent idea of where your property was lost (seating section of the Dome, pit location within the Congress Center, etc.), I encourage you to contact the security office, ask for Investigations, and request they perform a thorough inquiry into your matter. It can't hurt. The more people who call them and tell them about their expensive losses, the more these security offices will have to take our concerns seriously.

Again, the phone number is 404-223-8900. Ask for the Investigations unit for either the Georgia Dome or the GWCC.

Unhappy Re: Atlanta FRC championship Lost & Found

Mine was an Olympus D-535 Zoom. The Georgia Dome told us on Friday night that the only thing they had found was a Kodak. Mine may actually be in the scouting box. When it was lost my mother was responsible for it so at least she has to pay for it. (She offered to) But all of my pictures were on it. So if anyone has any pictures of our robot or our team let me know because I have none and it is my last official first competition on the team
