Thanks to 987 and 1503

I just want to say thanks (again) to 987 for noticing our defense and picking us. You guys have a great robot - we were a bit in awe to be teamed up with you. We were 2-5 and ranked 74th and we hadn't made it to the elimination rounds at either GLR or WMR. We thought we'd just watch the selections and then go pack up or robot. Both our student rep and I thought we were hearing things when we heard 1718 until we saw the rest of our team jumping up and down in the stands. Thanks to your scouts.

Also, thanks to 1503. We've been impressed with the triplets since we saw you at GLR. Thanks for the coaching help on how to defend 25. Unfortunately, we came up a little short at the end.

Congratulations to 25, 968, and 195. You guys worked great together. We made it close, but in the end you deserved the win. It was a fun battle.

Also congatulations to 217 (fellow Ford team), 296 and 522 on winning the Championship.

This was a great experience for our rookie team and our freshman driver. We look forward to building on this experience for next year.

Thank you for putting up such a fight against us. All of you made it worth the while! And in the end..it's not about winning is it? We all had an awesome time (hopefully ).

It was a pleasure to compete with and play with the best of the best.

Thumbs up Re: Thanks to 987 and 1503

Many thanks to team 1503 and 1718 for joining us on the ultimate "wild ride"...that second match vs 25, 968 and 195 was sooo close! Did any other match produce more than 223 points total? Team 987 is proud to have worked together with such great partners...1718, it's not about your rank as you now know, it's all about your performance and our scouts were aware of your efforts early in the qualifying matches as they were aware all along of team 1503's great robot and organization. We look forward to seeing you all in the future and invite you to head west to partake in the Las Vegas Regional next year...can anyone say threepeat? Congratulations and thanks to team 25 for your friendship and cooperation...can't think of a better team to lose a contest to!...and congratulations to teams 968 and 195 for a great run at the Championship.

On behalf of Team 1503, Spartonics. I'd like to thank Team 987 and 1718 for greatfully helping us in the intense minutes of the Newton final matches. We had an awesome time playing with this alliance, it was a nail-biter to the very end.

Also congrats to Team 25, 968, and 195 for being so competitive and working together, once again a very fun battle.
