FIRST Scholarships

Applied for the First/RIT scholarship. Haven't heard a yes or no yet.

I received one of the UC Davis FIRST scholarships and I'll be attending the college if there's no last-second major turnabout of events.

Side note: Oh, this is almost sad. The edit timer hit the limit while I was editing the topic post to put this blurb in.

I received this e-mail earlier today. I guess it means that if you haven't heard from WPI, then you didn't get the scholarship...? Bah, Friday will tell. Hopefully.

I haven't heard from anybody (Purdue, WPI, and Northeastern). I'm concerned, because I'm basing where I'm going to college based on this, and I need to know right away.

Meh. All three of these winners should have been notified by now.

I didn't get the Northeastern scholarship. I was really banking on it, and yes it stinks, but I guess thats just life.

When does FIRST announce the scholarships on what day and in the morning or at night anyone know?

I just found out last night that I recieved the ASME FIRST-Clarke Scholarship.

I applied for and received the WPI Allaire Scholarship about a month ago, though I need to tell them I'm not taking it...maybe I should do that soon...

I applied at the competition but did not hear the resultts

I didn't see them post the scholarships during the competition. Some of the professors and representatives from the colleges who came to the competition notified the students about the scholarships. I recieved one of the two RPI scholarships.

I found out that I received the Northeastern FIRST scholarship last Monday, the day before my team left for Atlanta. Knowing that I will graduate from college loan-free was a great way to start my week.

It might be too late now... Since college decision deadline is May 1st for pretty much all schools, right?
