That is a current option somewhere in the user cp.

The Show Signatures checkbox is found under Edit Options/Thread Display Options/Visible Post Elements.

Maybe that's the place to add a selection of maximum displayed signature height?

Another forum I regularly browse adapted this about six months ago and I really liked the idea, but it became natural to me that all sigs would have a forced size limitation that I forgot about it completely until now! Thank you Brandon for your hard work trying to make these forums more viewer-friendly.

I agree. Thanks Brandon! Even though this doesn't work in some versions of IE (due to MS not fully supporting standards), it helps cut down on way oversized signatures that some people tended to create, without totally removing the feature of a signature. Great job on implementing the code!
