Our schools have numbered parking passes so I seen a whole bunch of different team numbers 57, 272, 322, 470 just to name a few.

On our way to nationals we noticed that our bus clock was set to military time, we all looked at the clock when it was 15:39

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

As a member of Niagara first, I happened to be in Niagara Falls to see a movie and when I walked into the actual theater I heard "GREER", I assume it was members of 1503. Oddly enough right at the end of the movie there was a clock with the time that read 11:14. I just laughed. Also when we were on the bus to Atlanta a red chevy truck passes us. I looked at the plate on it and it simply read...."1114" thats all that was on the plate.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

On my frist trip to the chesapeak regional we stopped at a qiuznos for food. The receipt came out to be $12.57. We weren't even trying to do that! 12:57 is also my favorite minute of the day. That's about it for all of the ones i've seen.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

At Chelsea (Team 1502) we REALLY got close (but no cigar) with our
room number. The phone extension numbers at the school equal
(1000 + room number). We meet and build in room 506, so we're
extension 1506, not 1502. (SOOOOO close!)

No way to get them to renumber the rooms either (darn...) so
I guess we're stuck with it...

But I've heard more than one say, "You know, if we'd only registered
just a BIT later..." <chuckle>

I usually don't see 11:90 on my watch, the gas prices here aren't anywhere near $11.90/gallon, but I did have $11.90 in my wallet once.

Re: Team Numbers in Everyday Places

Right before nationals, I saw my team's number (234) line up on two balls on some lottery show. The number right after it was 6.

We were drafted onto the 6th alliance in our division at nationals.
