Techinically Excellent Animations

Which animations by which teams do you think have over the top technical excellence?

It may not nessarily be a winner - it might lack creativity and content - but its certainly a very good demonstration of the technical skills some teams have accomplished. I'm interested in which animations(Team # and year) pushed the envelope in technical excellence.

I personally find the AVAs a bit more biased towards message/creativity - the way it should be - rather then technical superiority.

I'll start off by nominating several teams.

Team 25 this year had a very well done animation technically - although it never won a regional. The modeling and texturing was excellent.

Team 192 had superb animations in 1998-1999 - remember that these animations were built using 200 mhz computers and below.

And finally, I think my own team (#114) did an excellent job technically in 2002 and 2003.

Re: Techinically Excellent Animations

I thought Cybersonic's (Team 103) Animation this year was pretty good. They made a really great city scene. It's simple, including only a few large buildings with very basic shapes, but the lighting and textures made it really cool.

My team (#75) has also done pretty well, this year and in the past (especially last year's). You can view all our animations here:
