Question Markup help

(For want of a better title.)

I'm trying to get a demo gallery To display captions without causing the line of images to break (when they're big or small). The idea is to have the images in a single row (unless you've got a narrow browser) and not break.

The problem is I still want the caption under the image in question.

(Click on the images to see what I mean. Only the first one has a caption.)

Can anyone help me figure out a solution?

(I got the idea and code from Web Monkey)
