I will be flat out honest here... a lot of mentors are very wary of asking their entire team to go to an event that looks like it is entirely run and hosted by a student. In the future, if you want more support from team mentors, you need to have a mentor on your team send out the email invitation.
Also remember, this is the "off" season now for a lot of teams. Some teams don't meet any more after atlanta, some teams need breaks, many students are starting to prepare for finals or are still trying to catch up from what they missed in Atlanta. The end of the school year is a ROUGH time to run a fundraiser or intrateam activity. |
