PID

Hello, I am trying to find a PID code for the vex system and not having any luck. Does anyone have a code that will work or a resource I could use to find it.

Re: PID

Hi, this is a good place to start.

Note that PID is just a mathematical formula that calculates what the real-time output value (e.g., for a motor output) should be. You just write a formula and the Vex controller does the math. Yes, as easy as it sounds.

Re: PID

Can you take a piece of code from this website and modify it to suit the vex controller.

You may also find this article from embedded.com to be useful:

This year we controlled our shooter wheel speed and turret position with code adapted from it.
