Yesterday, while walking through a hobby works, I bought the flexible shaft Dremel attachment. I was really surprised by how amazingly well it works. It can be bent nearly 360 degrees with very little impairment of shaft rotation. Anyways, I realized how this could be really helpful in some of the applications I had in mind. Does anyone know where I could get one that will couple with a CIM?

Re: Flexible shafts working with CIMs
Check mcmaster page 1083 and scroll down to Heavy Duty Flexible Drive Shafts
Those would probably work, but they certainly aren't cheap. And you'd have to drill/bore out the coupler to 8mm (which I presume is possible, but I'm not certain). |

Re: Flexible shafts working with CIMs
So after talking with sanddrag this might not work. I need something that can handle the stress but is still cheap. Kind of a contradiction but if anyone knows of anything it would be really helpful.
