I see what Eglin sees. We have some older mentors, and some younger students. And sometimes I lie inbetween.
However, I don't think it's always age based. I'm 31 and it seems like the students still talk to me like a youngin'. Now, maybe it's because people think I'm young based on my looks (however starting to go grey). Or maybe because I'm the one they say has the "jazz" on the team. But I think any age can act as the bridge. I think it's fairly important to have that bridge - not just in FIRST, but in many aspects. Keeps things moving if people are more relaxed and happy. |
