Hey i came home today to see a wonderful spam message in my PM inbox, just a heads-up to people i hope know better,


If Anyone asks for your checking account number please dont give it to them.... its a stupid thing to do......(unless i ask then give it to me im cool i swear )

I'd just reply with:

Dear kind sir,
Thanks so much for your inquiry to my personal information. My account number is 696, the pin is 583764 and the current balance is $2038.57 If you'd like me to deposit more, just let me know. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. I am very skilled in investigation, crime stopping, and law enforcement. Now, pick up your phone and look out the window and wave.

Does the spammer have to be registered on here or can anyone (guests) send PMs?


[EDIT] I think I just answered my own question. It appears you have to have an account and be logged in to send PMs.
I just logged out of CD for the first time in over a year and I couldn't access the page to send PMs............unless the spammers know something I don't.

No it was a user, and that person has been dealt with, but it was essentially someone who decided to create an account just for this

if someone does this to you let me or any other moderator know and we can deal with it accordingly
