Go to Post I've never been one for the "you did your best" and other "everyone's a winner" sayings, they don't push you, they don't get you to analyze what went wrong and figure out where to improve. - Aren_Hill [more]

Re: Mentor Needed!!!

To further expand on what raf4far was trying to say,

a mentor is needed for

Team 4 Element
We are located in HighTechHigh-Los Angeles School
in Lake Balboa California (Van Nuys - Encino area)

"Wish-List":
-An adult licensed by LAUSD. (preferred but might not be necessary)
-Someone with knowledge of FIRST
-A mentor who will be able to stay to supervise us work after-school and weekends at least when it is build season.
-And someone who can communicate well with the School Faculty as well as the parents of the team.
-We have many senior members who will be able to teach new additions to the team, so someone who has experience in engineering isn't necessary, but it would extra nice if they did too.

But, to sum it all up,
We need a mentor who will be able to be supportive of the team, understands what FIRST is, communicative, and will take the time to supervise us when we want to work.

for more information, feel free to message me or raf4far.

Thank you for your time, and if you have anyone to recommend, please let us know!
