Looking for a few good teams

As some of you may know, this year's Wired Magazine's NextFest will be in New York City at the Javits Convention Center. SEPTEMBER 29 - OCTOBER 1, 2006.
We're looking for teams who would be seriously interested in bringing their robot and team members for several exhibition matches of this year's AIM HIGH game at this event. Due to its location, this would probably be most convenient for teams in NYC, Northern NJ, and Long Island. However, we would welcome any team who's interested and able to bring their team to NYC. More information on this year's NextFest can be found at

http://www.nextfest.net/inform/robot_row.php

If your team is interested or have any questions, please contact me: John Park, NYC FIRST Senior Mentor at jpark@usfirst.org
Thank you and hope you're all enjoying a great summer!

Re: Looking for a few good teams

Score... this would be the perfect event for QC Elite...

Now, [long pause] to convince the adults that this would be perfect to go to. But good luck to those teams attending. I hope you all represent FIRST well at the event.

John, I will advertise this locally if you are looking for teams from out of state and will direct them to your contact information.

Re: Looking for a few good teams

we've had it under consideration so chances are 1155 will be at least appearing there as a team.
