Use the factor theorem: for a polynominal f, if f(a) = 0 --> (x-a) is a factor

In this case, f: x^3 - 10x + 3
f(3) = 3^3 - 10(3) + 3 = 27 - 30 + 3 = 0

Therefore, (x-3) is a factor of f.

Using synthetic division (I'll leave this step to you), you can see that f = (x-3)(x^2 + 3x - 1)
