Re: Tell me what you have (in games), please.

1. Computer, N64, PS1, GB. (Although I often play games at a friend's house, he has a XBOX, XBOX 360, GameCube, PS2, Dreamcast, PSP.)
2. Probably shooters.
3. This ones a toughie, probably Halo (FPS). However, Exile III (RPG), UT2K4 (FPS), OMF (fighting), Duke Nukem II (2D shooter), Freelancer (Space based Action/RPG), Oblivion (RPG), GTA: San Andreas (Criminal), Ultimate Doom (FPS), Call of Duty 2 (FPS), Conkers Bad Fur Day (Comedy), Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (FPS), Final Fantasy VIII (RPG), NFSU2 (racing),Tyrian (Arcade space flying game), Half-Life (FPS), Liero (2d Shooter), and Starcraft (Strategy) are very very close.

EDIT: Forgot #4.....
I think that after this generation of consoles comes out the console development will slow down due to the fact that to get most of the graphical potential they're capable of the user needs a HDTV. Computers will then become to realm of insane graphics until High-Def TVs become standard. (Mind you, by then monitors will probably often come in 2000+ pixels widths)

*ahem* Sega Genesis, Gameboy Advance SP, PSP, PS2, Gamecube, and an N64. [I don't think I forgot any...]

I like RPG's, or action games. It changes all the time! ^_^

3. What is your all time favorite game?
Hmmm. That's a toughie. I have a soft spot for Final Fantasy 7 and Kingdom Hearts. Ooh...and then there's always gonna be Super Smash Bros. Melee...but one of my favorite PSX(1) game is Ape Escape. I love that game.

4. What do you look up to in the future of gaming?
Wii. Definately. New controller= new gameplay. Its going to be awesome. Nintendo is always coming up with great ideas.

PS3= Good graphics. So what? Its expensive and not really that original.

Xbox360= pfft. I'm not gonna even go there. I don't think its worth any money.

'kay, thats all I have to say then! *nods*

I decided I want X-Box 360 over the Playstation 3 because Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed (originally exclusive to the PS3) was going to be on X-Box 360 as well. I'm not even looking to the Wii, if the Nintendo Gamecube hadn't disappointed me so much then my thoughs might be different.

If I were to get a Wii, it would be for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

While everyone who has ever played the first game will disagree, it is a mix of, Starship Troopers, Oblivion, Morrowind, Halo, Halo 2, Parsec, HL2, Diablo 2, Quake III:Arena, Harvest Moon, StarCraft, Quake IV, Mario Party 1-2, Mario Kart, Fable, Starfox 64, RUSH 2049, and Tetris.

Mobile gaming and gameplay/graphics (gameplay over graphics), it does not matter if you have the most amazing game graphics in the world but if you have terrible game play the game will suck. (Take FF 6-12 for example)

Re: Tell me what you have (in games), please.

1. What consoles do you have?
NES, SNES, Gameboy Pocket, Gambeboy Color, N64, GameCube, Playstation, PS2, PSP, DS

2. Whats your favorite genre?

Action/adventure, Platformers, side-scrollers, fighters, racing, misc, etc. The only genre that I don't like are FPSs

3. What is your all time favorite game?

SSB, Super Smash Bros. Melee, any game in the Mario Kart series, Soul Calibur 2 and 3, and the first 3 Spyro games (it just went downhill there after.)

4. What do you look up to in the future of gaming?

Wii, most definitely! And with all the new announcements made yesterday/today, I'm just that much more excited. A New controller and innovative gameplay, free online play, backwards compatibility to the extreme with the virtual console, an online photo channel, messaging, Mii, and a variety of other different online channels, a Wii Opera web browser, and so much more. Nintendo has yet to disappoint me, and surely won't fail to deliver with Wii. I also can't wait for Super Smash Bros. Brawl! (too bad it won't be launching until 2007..) And I'll take gameplay over graphics anyday.

1. I have a NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, Play Station, Xbox, Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo DS.

2. Racing, it is easy to pick up and play, most of the time.

3. You can never go wrong with Tetris. Because when you go to bed and all you can see are the different ways to place the pieces, thats when you know your addicted.

4. Its hard to say, other than I hope they can make things for a lower price, and still get better with what they are doing.

  1. PC, PS2 (use PS2 only for DDR)
  2. First Person Shooters
  3. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory
  4. More game companies following the lead of ID and making their old (yet still very good) games open-source, game developers making better games, not better-looking, more memory-hogging games.
