[OCCRA]: OCCRA Update #2 9/16/06
GR5: The front 10 feet of the field is a no scoring zone; if any part of a goal is touching the floor in this zone at the end of a match the balls inside do not count as points.
This means that if the goal's bar or an overhang goes an inch or two over the no-score zone, refs won't have to mess with trying to see if it "broke the plane." Instead, the ref just needs to get their eye at carpet level and see if that 30" by 30" bottom has made contact with the no-score zone. |
